7 vehicles seized for illegal mining

JAMMU, Feb 12: Police claimed to have seized 7 vehicles involved in illegal mining from different areas of Jammu District on Sunday.
As per a police spokesman, two tractor trolleys were seized by Police Station Kanachak, as many by Police Station Domana, one dumper by Police Station Miran Sahib, another by Police Station Bishnah, and one dumper by Police Post Phallain Mandal.
The recoveries were made by SHO Kanachak, Inspector Rahul Mahajan; SHO Domana, Inspector Tilak Raj; SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq; SHO Bishnah, Inspector Vikram Sharma and Incharge Police Phallain Mandal, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal.
“DMO Jammu has also been intimated about the seizures made,” said the police spokesperson.
