JAMMU, Apr 22: At least seven vehicles were seized for mining illegally in Jammu District today, police said.
They said one tipper was seized by a team of Police Station Kahna Chak led by SHO concerned, Inspector Rahul Mahajan, and six vehicles, including 4 dumpers and two tippers, were seized by Police Post Sidhra led by PSI Arun Kumar.
“The seized vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order,” said police, adding that the DMO Jammu has been informed about the recoveries made.
