JAMMU, May 28: Continuing with the commitment to ameliorate the condition of the underprivileged people who are facing immense hardships due to Corona curfew, the former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta along with the former Minister, Sat Sharma disbursed ration and relief material among the needy and poor sections of the people here, today.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder said that BJP enjoys full confidence and support of the people because of its being in constant link with them at the grass root level and this connection has been further strengthened in view of the 24X7 presence of the party workers at the grass root level attending to their problems during the first wave and now in the wake of second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. He assured the people that the Bharatiya Janata Party will continue to stand with the people in this hour of crisis by providing all sorts of assistance in the shape of ration, medical facilities, etc to them.
The ration material distributed today was arranged by Neeraj Gupta and Rakesh Gupta proprietors of M/s SM Sanitary Zone Satwari Jammu to support the BJP’s determination to ensure that no one sleeps hungry in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Sat Sharma, in his address, informed that BJP will be holding multiple programmes to celebrate the successful completion of seven years of Modi led Government at the Centre. The functions will be held right up to the booth level across the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory during which the party workers and activists will organize camps to distribute masks, sanitizers and free ration to the needy people.
Besides, blood donation camps and awareness camps to make the people aware about significance of strictly following SOPs and precautions necessary to defeat Coronavirus will be organized on the occasion. Moreover, people will be made aware about the policies formulated and implemented by Modi Government and their benefits to common masses, he added.
Among those present during today’s ration distribution function were Vinay Gupta, Hardev Singh, Chairman Cantonment Board; Bharat Bhushan, Mandal president; corporator, Pawan Singh; Avtar Singh, Naib Sarpanch; Raj Singh, Vishal Singh, Pitamber Sharma, Sanchit, Rajendra, Rajesh Gupta and Navsheh Mahajan.
