RAJOURI, Aug 28: The Excise team conducted raids at several places in district Rajouri and seized 70 liters of illicit liquor and destroyed three working stills.
Official sources said that Excise team from Rajouri conducted raids at Swari, Rajal, Bagnoti, Narian, Ladyot, Jawhar Nagar, Lam, Argi, Dalori and other locations and seized 220 kg lahan, 70 liters of illicit liquor. Three working stills were also destroyed on the spot.
While many managed to escape, the two persons arrested by the Excise team included Mukesh Kumar from Jawahar Nagar in Rajouri and Sanjeev Kumar from Ladyot. They were booked under Excise Act.
