RAJOURI, May 1: The police arrested three persons at two different naka points on the main Jammu-Rajouri road last night and seized two cars along with 750 gms charas, 132 bottles of corex and 410 intoxicated (Parvon Spas) capsules.
A police spokesman said that during naka at Bathuni police intercepted a Maruti car No JK02AK/7938 the car broke the naka and sped away. The police party chased the vehicle and nabbed the driver. He was identified as Rajan Gupta, son of Raj Kumar Gupta of Kalakote.
During search of the vehicle, the police party recovered nearly 750 gms charas from the possession of Rajan. A case FIR No. 210/ 2014 was registered against him.
During another Naka at Chingus, the police party intercepted a car last night and recovered 132 bottles of corex and 410 intoxicated capsules. Two persons were arrested in this connection. They were identified as Faizan Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed Mir, resident of Ward No.1, Rajouri and Irshad Ahmed, son of Latief of Dalogra. A case FIR No. 209 has been registered against them.
