KATHUA, July 24: A police party of Police Station Hiranagar during a naka checking today at Londi Morh intercepted one truck bearing registration No. JK02S/2787 driven by one Altaf Hussain S/o Gh. Hassan R/o Kothian Tehsil Kalakote District Rajouri and his associates namely Ram Sawroop Kaka S/o Faqir Chand R/o Kana Tehsil Hiranagar district Kathua.
During search of the said truck police recovered 750 gms poppy straw. A case FIR No. 97/2013 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Hiranagar against the arrested accused and investigation started.
