76 test COVID +ve in J&K

JAMMU, Apr 18: A total of 76 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported today from Jammu and Kashmir, 43 from Jammu Division and 33 from Kashmir Division.
The highest number of 30 cases was reported from Jammu district, followed by 11 from Budgam, 10 from Srinagar, 6 from Udhampur, 3 each from Baramulla and Bandipora, 2 each from Anantnag, Kulgam, Doda and Reasi, and 1 each from Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Pulwama and Shopian districts.
As per reports, a total of 1,959 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 723, 345 in Jammu Division and 378 in Kashmir Division whereas 91 COVID patients recovered today, 43 from Jammu Division and 48 from Kashmir Division.
The highest number of 224 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 85 in Srinagar, 51 in Baramulla, 50 in Budgam, 44 in Kulgam, 40 in Anantnag, 32 each in Pulwama and Kishtwar, 26 each in Kupwara and Udhampur, 22 in Ganderbal, 21 in Doda, 20 in Bandipora, 9 each in Ramban and Samba, 8 each in Shopian and Kathua, and 7 in Rajouri, 5 in Poonch and 4 in Reasi district.
