JAMMU, May 30: Power Grid achieved yet another feat in the Northern Region-II with the commission of 273 kilometres long 765 kV Moga-Bhivani, Single Circuit transmission line along with associated bays and its synchronization with Northern Grid on Tuesday.
The work on the said line was completed at the cost of Rs 800 crore including ICT, reactor and associated bays at Moga and Bhiwani substations.
With this commissioning, Northern Region-II has added 2500 MVA transformation capacity in one go which is approximately 18% of its already installed capacity.
