JAMMU, Oct 12: A Yoga Shivir Camp, besides Ganga Darshan for people/Yatris who earlier have not visited Haridwar and now intend to do so has been arranged by Jammu Yatri Bhawan and Swastik Charitable Trust.
The Trust has dispatched 7th Batch of the Yatris by a special Bus from Shakti Nagar Jammu. This is further to reiterate that Trust has already committed to facilitate 1008 such yatris (Batch wise) for Ganga Darshan every month on Amavasya Parv under this scheme and to bear to and fro expenses of the visiting yatris, besides providing of free residential accomodation as also free fooding facilities under this programme.
During these tour, Yatris will have to attend free Yoga classes where yoga experts will educate them about various ways and means of meditation to remain out of stress and to come out from various dangerous diseases and also made known to them the correct way of performing Pooja Archana from the learnt Pandits and Veda Acharya. The 7th batch of Yatris was sent to Haridwar with amidst chanting of vedic havan and Hindu religious rituals which were performed by Pawan Kumar Shastri. The function was attended by Gurdas Sharma, General Secretary/Treasurer of Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Raj Kumar Gupta, President Gau Raksha Samiti Amphalla and L.D.Shastri along with other prominent citizens.
