JAMMU, Apr 25: J&K Coordination Committee of Trade Unions (JKCCTU) has termed the implementation of 7th Pay Commission report as an eye wash.
State president of JKCCTU, Mohd Maqbool in a press statement here alleged that the report is full of flaws and has serious anti-employees contents in it. The Govt has implemented only partial report and has announced only Central grades and HRA leaving all other issues unattended. There is no increase in Medical allowance or CCA or any other allowance when the employees organisations have demanded its full implementation including all allowances. Moreover, Govt has announced the abolition of three years vacant post which will further reduce the permanent jobs thus, following the neo-liberal agenda of Central Govt which should be opposed both by employed and un- employed youth of the State.
The Govt while implementing the report has also ignored the Public Sector Undertakings while saying that they will mobilize their own resources for the fact that when all the PSUs are in shambles and other long pending demand of pay anomaly of clerical staff and the increasing of honorarium of Anganwadi workers who are on struggle since long.
Mohd Maqbool while terming the report as an eye- wash has called upon all its affiliated unions to hold protest demonstrations and oppose the report and demanded full implementation after removing negative aspects.
