8 bovine animals seized

RAJOURI, Oct 27: The police seized eight bovine animals in Nowshera area while smugglers managed to escape giving slip to the cops last night.
The police sources said that a police naka party led by SHO Dharamsal Insp Mohd Bashir during naka cheking at Solki last night rescued four bovine animals which were being taken towards Rajouri on foot by the two persons. They managed to escape from the spot while animals were seized by cops. They registered a case FIR No. 107/ 2015 against them.
Another police party led by SI Altaf Hussain, under the supervision of SDPO Sargun Shukla intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11/7317 last night at Jamari bridge and found four milch animals being smuggled to Kashmir via Mughal Road. The police seized the animals and vehicle and registered a case FIR No. 198/2015 at P/S Nowshera. The smugglers managed to escape, the police said.
