SAMBA, July 4: Supwal police rescued 8 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Supwal Police Post laid a naka at Phulpur and rescued 8 bovine animals.
Police team also arrested two cattle smugglers, who were identified as Mureed Ahmed, son of Hussain Ali and Shipaiya, son of Saraj Din, both residents of District Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 169/2020 under section 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
