JAMMU, Nov 29: The Forest, Ecology & Environment Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 8 Forest Officers (FOs).

As per an order, Suneesh Buxy, the 1998 batch AGMUT cadre IFS officer and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, who is currently awaiting orders of adjustment in the Administrative Department, has been posted as Director, Social Forest, J&K, relieving Bishwajit Kumar Singh, PCCF/HoFF, of the additional charge of the post, Dr Syed Nadeem Hussain, the 2009 batch AGMUT cadre IFS officer and Conservator of Forests, who is awaiting orders of adjustment in the office of PCCF/HoFF, J&K, has been posted as Regional Director, Social Forestry, Jammu. However, he (Dr Syed Nadeem Hussain) shall hold the additional charge of the post of Joint Director, Soil & Water Conservation, Jammu, relieving Dr MK Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu, of the additional charge of the posts.
The order further said that Iqbal Rasool Dar, the 2022 batch AGMUT cadre IFS officer has been posted as DFO Sindh Forest Division, Ganderbal vice Danish Khan, ACF, and Ankit Sinha, the 2022 batch AGMUT cadre IFS officer, has been posted as DFO Ramban Forest Division vice Hatinder Singh, ACF.
Shahbazul Rahman, the 2022 batch AGMUT cadre IFS officer has been posted as DFO Mahore Forest Division vice Qamar Rashid, ACF, and Hatinder Singh, ACF, incharge DFO Ramban Forest Division, has been transferred and posted as Technical Officer to PCCF & HoFF, J&K in the Direction Office, the order said.
Additionally, it has been ordered that Danish Khan, ACF, incharge DFO, Sindh Forest Division, Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as incharge DFO Planning & Publicity Division, Srinagar, and Qamar Rashid, ACF, incharge DFO Mahore Forest Division, has been transferred and posted as ACF Nowshera Forest Division.
