8 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, July 25:  Eight persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir today.
Police said a Tata Sumo JK03/5590 skidded off the road on KP road at Mattan, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle Owais Manzoor Bhat and his brother Asif Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat residents of Akad, Anantnag. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Mattan Police have registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle JK03B-3726 hit and injured a pedestrian, Habibullah Khan resident of Watnard, Kokernag. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Kokernag Police have registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tipper 0663496 skidded off the road at Zatkhusi Bridge, in Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, four persons were injured  when a motorcycle JK05/7513 collided with another motorcycle at Watpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bandipora. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Bandipora Police have registered a case in this regard.
