8 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Feb 9: Police today said eight persons including five security personnel were injured in two separate road accidents in south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a Maruti car bearing registration number JK12B-8144 and a Tavera bearing registration number JK03C-4701 collided near Petrol Pump at Sangam, resulting in injuries to Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, Nisar Ahmad Hajam and Hafiza. “All the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Bullet Proof mobile Bunker bearing registration number AP112341 of 182 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a Truck bearing registration number JK22-3837 collided near Gadoora area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to four CRPF persons and a police constable. “All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Pulwama wherefrom they have been referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
