UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: Eight members of two families from Haryana were injured when the Tempo, they were travelling in, was hit by a Truck from rear side at Jakhani on the National Highway, here today.
According to the reports, the Tempo bearing registration number JK20C-7877 was on its way from Katra to Patnitop when it was hit by the Truck (JK14K-0177) at Jakhani.
Locals and police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Manoj Kumar, son of Ratash Jakhar, his wife Pooja (35), their daughters Payal (17) and Jiya (16), Manisha (42) wife of Arvind Kumar, Jyoti Devi (26), wife of Parmood, her daughters Harishta (8) and Reyanshi (4), all residents of Haryana Faridabad.
Udhampur Police have registered the case in this connection.
