REASI, Dec 14: Forest officials in Gool block of Mahore Forest Division seized 8 quintals of minor forest produce (Dhoop) illegally stored by a villager in a cowshed in Bhimdasa area today.
Acting on a specific information, a forest team led by Block Forest Officer Gool, Nazir Ahmed Naik and Forest Guard, Abdul Gani Mughal raided the cowshed of a villager Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohd, resident of Daka hamlet and recovered 36 gunny bags filled with Jurinea dolomiaea (Dhoop) from there. The minor forest produce collected illegally from the Forest Compartment No 13 and 14 of Gool block was seized. A case has been registered in this connection. The operation was carried under the supervision of DFO Mahore Mohd Rafi Khan, who lauded the job of his team.
