JAMMU, May 18: The Home Department of the State Government today ordered transfer and postings of eight Superintendents of Police (SPs).
Swarn Singh Kotwal, SSP, SSG has been transferred and posted as Commandant, IRP 6th Bn vice Javid Hassan Bhat, who was transferred and posted as Divisional Commandant, Home-guards, Kashmir against an available vacancy.
Yougal Kumar Manhas, SP, Dy Commandant IRP 17th Bn. was transferred and posted as SP, SSG vice Swarn Singh Kotwal.
Sajad Hussain, SP, SSG has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, IRP 2nd Bn vice Liaqat Ali, who has been posted as SP, SSG vice Vinay Kumar.
Vinay Kumar, SP, SSG was transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, IRP 17th Bn vice Yougal Kumar Manhas
Al-Tahir Geelani, Additional SP Police Component (PC) Anantnag has been transferred and posted as SP, SSG vice Sajad Hussain.
Mubbasher Hussain, SP SSG was transferred and posted as Additional SP Police Component (PC) Anantnag vice Al- Tahir Geelani.
