8 students among 11 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Nov 15: Eleven persons including eight students were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tata LP vehicle bearing registration number JK13/3530 rammed into a tree at Baygund, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to eight students of Hajji Ahad Public School, Awantipora. All the injured were shifted to Public Health Center Dadsara, Tral for treatment. Among the injured Afshana Binish, aged 14 years, daughter of Bashir Ahmad resident of Sangrama was referred to SKIMS, Soura for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Maruti car bearing registration number HP51/2994 driven by Jaffer Ahmad Ganie, son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Payerpora hit and injured Mohammad Ishfaq Payer, son of Ali Mohammad resident of Payerpora at Payerpora, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A truck bearing registration number JK01C/8200 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/5567 near Dangerpora, Sumbal resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Naseer Ahmed Bhat, son of Abdul Majeed and a pillion Ashiq Hussain Koul, son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Pethpora-Asham. Both the injured were shifted to JVC Bemina for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
