UDHAMPUR, July 22: Udhampur Police today booked 08 vehicles for defying prohibitory order, guidelines and SOPs during Covid 19 restrictions and also realized fine of Rs 28300/- from violators for not wearing mask in public place.
Taking strict action against the violators for violating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guideline issued by the Government, Udhampur Police seized 05 minibuses, one SRTC bus, one Van and one private bus for violating social distancing norms, no arrangement for sanitisers inside, not wearing of masks by the public, etc.
Udhampur Police also continued its drive against the persons not wearing face masks in violation of orders issued by DM Udhampur and imposed the fine of Rs 28300/- on the violators.
