JAMMU, May 23: At least eight vehicles have been seized for mining illegally in Jammu District today, officials said.
They said six vehicles were seized by a team of Police Post Phallain Mandal led by incharge Police Post, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, and one dumper each was seized by teams of Police Post Sidhra and Police Post Bathindi led by incharges of the Police Posts PSI Arun Kumar and SI Shakil Ahmed.
“The seized vehicles were mining in violation of an order of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court,” officials said, adding that DMO Jammu has been intimated about the seizures made.
