JAMMU, Dec 21: Eight vehicles were seized for mining illegally in Jammu District today.
A police official said that two vehicles were seized by a team of Police Station Nagrota, one tractor trolley by a team of Police Station Arnia, three tractor trolleys by a team of Police Station Khour, one tractor trolley by Police Post Phallain Mandal, and one tipper by a team of Police Post Chatha.
“All the vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order,” he said, adding that the DMO Jammu has been intimated about the seizures made.
