JAMMU, Mar 24: Taking action against the people engaged in illegal sand mining from river Tawi, police seized eight vehicles.
As per police sources, a police team led by SDPO Nagrota Amit Gupta and assisted by SHO Nagrota Inspector Daljit Singh and Incharge Sidhra police post SI Mohammad Rashid under the supervision of SP Rural Arun Gupta conducted raid in river Tawi area and seized 8 vehicle for illegal sand mining.
The seized vehicles include two tippers and six tractor trolleys.
Nagrota police has taken action in this regard.
