JAMMU, Feb 5: Principal Sessions Judge Reasi Kamlesh Pandit today awarded eight years Rigorous Imprisonment to Krishan Paul Singh, son of Shatan Singh of Reasi, who had committed rape with 14 years old girl.
As per the prosecution case, on 05.08.2014 prosecutrix was kidnapped by the accused and accordingly raped. “In view of the aggravating and mitigating factors as highlighted by both the parties, I am of the considered opinion that the imprisonment for eight years shall sub-serve the ends of justice”, the judge said while awarding eight years imprisonment to the accused.
