80 students from PU currently practicing in High Court, Supreme Court

JAMMU, Aug 13: Eighty alumni from Parul University are practicing in eminent positions in High Courts and the Supreme Court. Many students like the international student from Zimbabwe, Admar Rene De Sous, are also gaining practical exposure by pursuing internships at prestigious organizations like the Bar Council of India.
However, professionals currently working in the industry have chosen to further increase their knowledge and expertise by pursuing law at Parul University; among these, are 44 judicial and 26 bank officers.
Apart from law, Parul University provides a comprehensive training in various courses like Fashion designing and Hotel Management.
Meanwhile, the students of the Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology get to receive world class training in hospitality through workshops from international chefs such as Ranveer Brar, Sanjay Thumma and Vicky Ratnani, that has resulted in students landing lucrative placements in various countries like Mauritius and New Zealand.
The University has hired 1500 new employees over the course of the pandemic and allocated Rs 3 crore towards its CSR activities.
However, even during pandemic, there was one institution that worked for the welfare of its employees as well as the society in general. Vadodara’s Parul University made necessary provisions to financially support its employees during the pandemic which include offering one month advance salaries, 14 day paid leaves and concession on medical bills in the events of a staff members testing COVID positive.
“The staff works tirelessly to ensure a safe future for more than 28000 students, and it is our moral duty and responsibility, to provide them with quality care and treatment. No matter what the circumstances, whether it was the pandemic or the lockdown, the medical staff, teaching and non teaching staff served their duties towards the students with complete dedication,” said Dr Geetika Madan Patel, the Medical Director of Parul Sevashram Hospital.
