LEH, Oct 16: Eighty two persons today tested positive for COVID-19—67 in Kashmir and 15 in Jammu while Ladakh reported four new cases.
Among 15 cases in the Jammu region, six were reported from Jammu district, five Poonch, two Doda and one each in Reasi and Udhampur districts.
Fifty persons today recovered from the virus leaving 159 active positive cases.
All four cases in Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 42 active positive cases–41 in Leh and one in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir reported 67 new cases of COVID-19 taking the Jammu and Kashmir tally of positive cases to 330967.
Srinagar reported 37 cases, Baramulla 12, Budgam 7, Kupwara 5, Bandipora 5 and Ganderbal 1.
