MENDHAR, July 9: An elderly man died due to sudden drowning in Sagra village of Mankot sector of Mendhar, here today.
According to officials, e 85-year old Mohammad Khalil, son of Lal Din, resident of Sagra village, was grazing his cattle near the river when he slipped into deep water and drowned. The deceased was Lambardar of the village.
Later, the body was fished out by locals and Police team. A case has been registered in this connection.
