876 Kanals state land retrieved in Ramban, 33 Kanals in Jammu

JAMMU, Feb 7: The district administration Ramban, in continuation to the anti-encroachment drives, today retrieved more than 876 Kanals state land in different tehsils of the District while 33 Kanals were retrieved by the district administration Jammu in Pargwal area.
In Ramban, the joint teams of Revenue and Police officers retrieved 187 Kanals of state land in tehsil Ramban, 417 Kanals in tehsil Rajgarh, 182 Kanals in Banihal, 19 Kanals in Batote and 70 Kanals in Pogal-Paristan (Ukhral). Meanwhile, the teams also demolished illegal structures raised on the encroached land.
Likewise, district administration Jammu today demolished under-construction Illegal structure being raised on state land in Pargwal. The demolition drive was conducted by Tehsildar Pargwal and Police.
Meanwhile, a team of revenue officers along with PRI members, police and other concerned officials retrieved 33 Kanals and 15 Marlas of state land in village Palwan, encroached by Numberdar of the village.
