JAMMU, Apr 26: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 89 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, 51 from Jammu Division and 38 from Kashmir Division.
The maximum 33 cases were reported from Jammu district, followed by 9 each from Srinagar and Baramulla, 7 each from Anantnag and Bandipora, 5 cases from Kathua, 4 from Ramban, 3 each from Udhampur and Kupwara, 2 cases each from Samba, Poonch and Kulgam and 1 each from Rajouri, Kishtwar and Budgam districts.
According to the reports, a total of 3,147 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 343, 193 in Jammu Division and 150 in Kashmir Division whereas 83 COVID patients recovered today, 34 from Jammu Division and 49 from Kashmir Division.
The highest number of 126 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 32 in Baramulla, 24 in Anantnag, 21 each in Budgam and Doda, 17 in Srinagar, 13 each in Pulwama and Kulgam, 12 in Udhampur, 11 in Bandipora, 10 in Ganderbal, 8 cases each in Samba and Ramban, 7 in Kathua, 6 in Shopian, 4 each in Rajouri and Reasi and 3 cases each in Kupwara and Poonch districts.
