NOWSHERA, May 19: The police seized a Tata mobile vehicle in Qila Darhal area and rescued nine bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir during early hours today.
Reports said that the police party during checking at a naka point laid at Qila Darhal Chowk at about 4 am today stopped a Tata Mobile vehicle No, JK11B-9420, coming from Kass link road side and found it loaded with 9 bovine animals .
The bovines animals were rescued however , driver namely Zafar Javid, son of Mir Hussain, resident of Behrot Thanamandi reportedly escaped from the spot. Police was looking for the absconding driver. A case has been registered in this connection.
