9 CRPF Jawans injured in road mishap

UDHAMPUR, Dec 23:   Nine CRPF Jawans were injured when a Tavera car, they were traveling in, rolled down in a deep gorge along National Highway near Kheri, here this morning.
All the injured Jawans are from 98 CRPF Battalion.  The Tavera car, bearing registration number JK09A-5190, was on way from Kupwara Kashmir to Jammu when it met with the accident near Kheri around 7.30 a.m.  Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors referred one of them, namely Laxman, son of Gopal Singh, to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his series condition.
The other injured persons were identified as Head Constable Naresh Kumar (38),  son of Kedar Nath of Haryana;  Constable  Puspinder (25),  son of Balbir Singh of Rajasthan;  Constable Naresh Kumar (28),  son of Krishan Lal of Rajasthan;  Constable  Kuldeep Singh (23), son of  Kulwant Singh of Punjab;  Head Constable Satvir Singh (48),  son of Shari Chand of Haryana;  Constable  Laxman (49),  son of Gopal Singh of Uttrakhand, ASI Sukvdar Shan Singh (46), son of  Surjeet Singh of Punjab, Constable  Sukhvinder Paul (42),  son of Bakhshish Singh of Punjab;  Constable, L Baite (25),  son of Than Khoun Baite of Mani Pur.
