JAMMU, Dec 16: On the eve of 64th Birth Anniversary of Dewarika Nath Shastri, a nine-day long Shri Gau Gopal Maha Yagya is being solemnized at Sohanjana from December 18 to 26.
This was informed by Ganga Dhar Maharaj in a press conference held here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganga Dhar said a large number of devotees are expected to participate in the Maha Yagya to seek blessings.
“It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to the Gau-Gopal Mahayagya on the eve of celebrations of birth anniversary of Shri Dewarika Nath Shastri Ji Maharaj.”
Dewarika Nath Shastri was popularly known as Bori Wale Baba, a saint who wears a jute sack.
He was Ph.D with three master degrees. He spent his whole life in preaching humanity, welfare of society, well being of Mankind, irrespective of any caste, creed or religion.
Shastri was liked and respected by all walks of life including Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims and Christians.
He was the patriotic Saint, fully devoted to God.
