RAJOURI, Mar 31: Nine persons were injured when a mini-bus met with an accident in Nowshera area of district Rajouri late this evening.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when some family members were returning from Shah Lakh Shrine in Bhawani area of Nowshera to Rajouri in a mini-bus No. JK02AP/ 8193. The vehicle skidded off the road and turned turtle. Nine persons sustained injuries and were shifted to SDH Nowshera.
The injured were identified as, Mohd Ashraf (54), Sajad Ahmed (10), Sakhi Mohd (88), Mohd Razak (48), Mohd Abdullah (40), Nazakat Hussain (5), Ulfat Begum, Aman Bi (45) and Mohd Zahoor (4), all residents of Badoon in Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
