9 die in Kashmir, J&K death toll 668

Srinagar, Aug 26: Nine COVID patients died today in Kashmir taking the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir to 668 while Valley reported 509 fresh Coronavirus cases taking the total cases in J&K to 34480.
Nine COVID patients who died include a 60-year-old man from Padshahi Bagh in Srinagar, a 60-year-old woman from Litter Pulwama, a 50-year-old man from Shampora Nowhatta in Srinagar, a 61-year-old woman from Rainawari in Srinagar, a 65-year-old man from Narbal in district Budgam, a 70-year-old man from Fateh Kadal Srinagar, a 75-year-old man from Sagam Kokernag in Anantnag, a 75-year-old man from Panzer in Shopian, a 55-year-old man from Panzath Qazigund in Kulgam district.
A 60 year old man from Padshahi Bagh in Srinagar who was admitted on 23rd August to SMHS hospital Srinagar and 60 year old woman from Litter Pulwama who was admitted a few days before died today.
A 61-year old woman from Rainawari in Srinagar who was admitted on 24th August to SKIMS hospital in Soura and a 50-year old man from Shampora Nowhatta who was admitted a few days before died today.
A 65 year old man from Narbal in district Budgam who was admitted to SKIMS Soura on August 9 died today.
A 70 year old man from Fateh Kadal in Srinagar who was admitted to Chest Diseases Hospital in Srinagar on August 19 died today.
A 75 year old man from Sagam Kokernag and a 75 year old man from Panzer Shopian died at GMC Anantnag today.
A 55 year old man from Panzath Qazigund in Kulgam district who was admitted at DH Kulgam on 22 August died on way to SKIMS at Bijbehara today.
With these 9 deaths, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 668 including 614 from Kashmir division.
Kashmir reported 509 fresh Coronavirus cases today taking the tally in J&K to 34480.
Srinagar reported 198, Baramulla 16, Pulwama 55, Budgam 64, Anantnag 47, Kulgam 9, Shopian 9, Kupwara 49, Bandipora 22 and Ganderbal 40 fresh Coronavirus cases today.
Meanwhile, 473 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals from Kashmir valley.
