JAMMU, Aug 23: Nine persons were injured in road accidents.
As per reports, 6 persons were injured in two cars collision in Bikram Chowk area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nehru Market Police Post.
The injured were identified as Narinder Sharma, son of Vijay Sharma of Satwari, Farsheed Ahmed, son of Shams Din of District Doda, Mohd Sami, son of Abdul Aziz of District Doda, Sajid Hussain, son of Azarali Bhat of District Doda, Faiz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Qadar of District Doda and Mohammad Saleem, son of Abdul Aziz of District Doda.
Meanwhile, a lady identified as Babli Devi, wife of Kala of Valmiki Colony Gandhi nagar was injured when the motorcycle she was riding on slipped in the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar Police Station. She received head injury in the accident.
In another similar case, two persons were injured when a car hit them at Kabir Colony in the jurisdiction of Talab Tillo Police Post.
The injured were identified as Amira, wife of Aftab and Ruksana, daughter of Saleem Sher, both residents of Kabir Colony.
All the injured persons were admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu and their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
