9 injured in road mishaps

REASI, July 16: A young couple and their two minor children among nine persons were injured in two separate road accidents, here today.
Seven persons were injured when an Alto car rolled down in deep gorge near Jyotipuiram. The car bearing registration number JK20B- 1821, was coming from Shajru towards Reasi when it met with the accident.
Inured persons were shifted to the District Hospital Reasi where two of them were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their serious condition.
The injured were identified as Veer Singh, aged about 38 years, son of Thakur Das, resident of Shajru, Mahore; his wife Manisha Devi, aged about 28 years; their daughter Lavishka, aged 2 years and 2-month old son Luv Singh; Rano Devi, aged about 42 years, wife of Mohan Singh, resident of Shajru; Veena Devi, age 47 years, wife of Dev Raj and Krishna Devi, age 56 years, wife of Mir Chand, both resident of Ind, Mahore. After first aid at DH Reasi, Manisha Devi and Rano Devi were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu.
In another road accident, a motorcyclist and his son were injured when a Scorpio car (JK11G 0009) hit their bike (JK20A 8779) near Kala Morh area on Reasi – Katra road.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital Reasi and they were identified as Mohd Ashraf, age 41 years, son of Noor Mohd, resident of Geeta Nagar, Reasi and his 5- year old son Mohd Imran Khan. Their condition was stated to be stable.
