UDHAMPUR, Mar 6: Nine persons were injured in separate road accidents across Udhampur district, here today.
Two trucks, bearing registration number PB1AL-9716 and JK2AT-4357 collided near Dhar Road, Udhampur resulting into injuries to both the drivers. Locals took the injured to District Hospital Udhampur. They were identified as Pawan Kumar (29) son of Chuni Lal of Kathua and Kundan Lal (45) son of Guljar of Gurdaspur.
In another road accident, an Indica car bearing Registration number JK02BA-6737 was hit by a truck JK22-4226 near Tali Bari, Chenani. The injured persons, shifted to Sub District Hospital Chenani, were identified as Neelam (43), here husband Chander Prakash Seem (20) daughter of Vishba Nath and Minal daughter of Ldkoo Ji. All are resident of Varanasi, presently putting up at Mumbai.
Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit a child at Dhar Road area. People took the injured to Distt Hospital Udhampur. He was identified as Nitish Gupta (8) son of Neeraj Gupta of Udhampur
Another road accident took place when a vehicle hit one Pedestrian at Salian Talab. The injured was identified as Saleem Akther (33) wife of Mohd. Shabir of Nagrota.
