JAMMU, Apr 24: Domana and Nagrota Police seized nine vehicles involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, to deal sternly with the menace of illegal mining, police teams led by SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma and SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Shoket were constituted under the supervision of SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma and SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
The teams acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their areas and seized 9 different vehicles involved in illegal mining in Domana and Nagrota.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
