9 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized

JAMMU, Sept 13: Police seized 9 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Samson Bhatti, Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma, Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh, Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Pawan Kumar, Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Rahul Mahajan, Police Post Pouni Chak led by PSI Nitish Khajuria and Police Post Chatha led by SI Ranjit Singh on specific inputs raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized 9 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was being done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
