JAMMU, July 3: Police claimed today that they have seized 9 vehicles for mining illegally here.
A police spokesperson said that one tractor trolley was seized by a team of Akhnoor Police Station led by SHO concerned, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, another by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Bopinder Singh, two tractor trolleys by another team of Police Station Nagrota led by Inspector Vishav Partap Singh, SHO Nagrota, two trolleys by a team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO concerned, Inspector Azad Ahmed, two vehicles by a team of Police Post Talab Tillo led by incharge Police Post PSI Sonu Choudhary, and one tractor trolley by Police Station Panjtirthi led by incharge Police Post PSI Rahul Sharma.
“The DMO Jammu has been intimated about the seizures made,” he said, adding that the seized vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order.
