NEW DELHI, May 30: Highlighting nine years of Narendra Modi Government at Centre, BJP national general secretary and in charge party for Maha Samparak Abhiyan, Tarun Chugh today said that these nine years ushered India in a new era of development, welfare of poor, downtrodden, women, reflected India’s victory march towards a powerful nation and bringing country out of party paralysis to a decisive India.
Talking to reporters here, today he while unfolding the achievements of the Modi Government said that PM while taking oath had said his Government is dedicated to welfare of poor and downtrodden, working class, women upliftment and during these nine years the he fulfilled the dreams of these sections of society.
Chugh said India emerged as the fifth largest economy in the world which is a great achievement of Modi Government and country should take pride in that. Without naming Congress, he said in last over six decades the rulers promoted their dynasties while Modi Government worked on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Priyas.
During these nine years India made a great jump in the world economy. He said earlier plans were only confined to papers but now the same is visible on ground. He said during present regime the foundation of projects and schemes is laid and they are completed in the stipulated time frame unlike the previous regimes when projects were not completed for decades.
Modi Government rid the country’s economy of corruption and strengthened it. He said earlier out of Re one only 14 paisa reached the people while remaining money was going down the drain but now entire rupee reaches the people as we plucked that hand which was grabbing 86 paisa.
Chugh said Modi Government changed entire situation in the country during its nine year long rule. He said Ram temple at Ayodhya is near completion saying BJP did not make hollow slogans of removing poverty but fulfilled its promises and worked on ground for the betterment of the people.
He said crores of homeless people in the country were given their new houses. Over 11 crore people were given new water connections and over 11 crore new public lavatories were constructed in the country during this period.
The BJP national general secretary said 50 crore Ayushman cards were issued to the people under which free treatment will be given in the hospitals to needy upto Rs five lakh. The doctors number was increased in hospitals and PM showed lot of concern for the health of the people of the country. He said Beti Bachao , Beti Padao scheme was launched for the bright future of the daughters. PM fulfilled the dreams of youth and schemes were launched for welfare of farmers and women, he added.
He said tourism, defence and other sectors were given boost under the Modi Government.
He said PM Modi will address Jan Samparak rally at Rajasthan tomorrow and from May 30 to June 30 month -long Maha Samparak Abhiyan will be launched all over the country. Fifty one rallies will be held all over the country and all BJP leaders will attend these rallies.
He said 500 meetings will be held in Lok Sabha constituencies and 600 press conferences will be organized all over the country.
