90-yr woman dies, four injured in separate accidents

JAMMU, Nov 8: A ninety-year-old woman died while as four other persons injured in separate road accidents in Jammu District today, police said.
They said one Dhanpati (90) wife of Badri Nath of Narwal was hit by a tipper early morning today.
She was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where she breathed her last around 10:45 am today, police said.
While the body of the deceased woman has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at the concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
Meanwhile, four people, including two women, suffered injuries in separate roads accidents in the District today.
One Jasvir Kour (52) wife of Sukhbir Singh of Bage Marh, RS Pura, suffered injuries after she slipped from a bike at Agra Chak area in RS Pura.
At Gandhi Nagar area, a scooty was hit by an unknown vehicle, resulting in injuries to one Harvinder Singh, whose parentage is not known.
One Vicky Singh (18) son of Amarjeet Singh of Chatha suffered injuries after the motorcycle he was riding on slipped on the Ring Road at Gho Manhasa area.
A woman identified as Reeta Kotwal (50) wife of late B R Kotwal of Roop Nagar, Jammu, suffered injuries after she fell from a scooty near Vishal Mega Mart at Bakshi Nagar area.
All the injured have been hospitalised and police have registered separate cases under the relevant sections of the law at the concerned police stations.
