90-yrs-old woman airlifted to Poonch

POONCH, June 26: A ninty years old woman, Krishna Kumari was airlifted to her native place Poonch after a long span of four decades on her last wish.
Krishna, wife of Late Hukum Singh, a prominant person of the area his times, had shifted to Jammu half a century ago and settled there.
After the death of her husband, Krishna had decided to return to her native town of Poonch to pass her rest of the life . She couldn’t fulfil her wish because she was too weak to be shifted to Poonch by road. The arduous journey from Jammu to Poonch was the only obstacle in the fulfilment of her wish. Her body couldn’t bear the exhaustive journey by road.
The matter came into the knowledge of Ms Arti Malhotra Suri, a social activist presently PRO in Mahrashtra NCP. Suri is known for her philanthropic activities all over the country. After receiving the news of the wish of the elderly woman, Suri activated her contacts and finally arranged a private chopper and shifted the elderly woman to her home town.
After shifting the elderly woman to Poonch, Suri expressed her happiness and satisfaction on the fulfilment of the wish of an aged woman. For her, this was a satisfying act .
