JAMMU, Dec 3: 92.7 BIG FM came up with the season -3 of BIG Junior RJ – the largest platform to identify kids with a talent for Radio Jockeying.
The hunt for BIG Junior RJ started from November 14, 2015 on Children’s Day and spanned across 44 cities in the country.
India’s largest FM network is to select talented children between the age group of 7 to 14 years on the basis of parameters such as speech, spontaneity, wit and general awareness.
While providing parents with the opportunity to get actively involved in their children’s grooming and growth, 92.7 BIG FM also aims at honing exceptionally talented kids through a fantastic new experience that allows them to display their skills and potential which are usually overlooked amidst their age group.
Participation to Dabur Honitus BIG Junior RJ was done through SMS, call and microsite. 92.7 BIG FM RJs also visited schools across the city to select children basis their talent and be a part of the biggest hunt for junior RJ.
Through a rigorous and intense selection procedure, 5 kids have been shortlisted and listeners will be asked to vote for their favorite contestant now. The winner of Dabur Honitus BIG Junior RJ Hunt will be co-hosting all the shows throughout on December 14, 2015 with RJ Juhie, RJ Manas and RJ Sarang and finally one lucky kid from across the country will feature in Big Magic’s TV show Comedy ka Rocket.
Vikrant Sharma, Programming Head, 92.7 BIG FM Jammu declared Top 5 winners who will further compete for the Title of BIG Junior RJ.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Mujtaba Ali Jaffery, Cluster Head, 92.7 BIG FM Jammu & Kashmir/Punjab said “We are extremely delighted to bring back BIG Junior RJ in its third season. Through this activity we aim to discover and recognize the spontaneity & talent in children. We are confident of discovering RJs of the future through this exciting platform.”
The top 5 kids selected in today’s final auditions were Tarini Magotra from Delhi Public School, Vaishnavi from Jodhamal School, Raghav Khajuria from KC International School, Atharav from Heritage School and Manyata from Banyan International School.
