93 bovines rescued under ‘Operation Kamdhenu’

RAMBAN, May 11: Batote, Ramban and Banihal Police rescued 93 bovine animals under ‘Operation Kamdhenu’.
As per police sources, teams from Police Stations Batote, Ramban and Banihal laid checking points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted ten Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police teams rescued 93 bovine animals from the vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Batote, Ramban and Banihal and investigation started.
Police teams led by Incharge SHO Batote PSI Rohit Sharma, SHO Ramban Inspector Sandeep Charak and SHO Banihal Inspector Muneer Ahmed foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen, SDPO Banihal Nissar Khoja and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
