JAMMU, Apr 11: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 97 fresh cases of COVID-19 cases, 49 from Jammu Division and 48 from Kashmir valley.
According to the reports, highest number of 28 cases were reported from Jammu district, followed by 14 from Srinagar, 10 from Budgam, 7 each from Kupwara and Kulgam, 6 from Samba, 4 each from Udhampur and Kishtwar, 3 each from Rajouri, Baramulla and Ganderbal, 2 from Reasi and 1 each from Kathua, Poonch, Anantnag and Bandipora districts.
As per reports, a total of 2,898 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 471, 200 in Jammu Division and 271 in Kashmir region whereas 52 COVID patients recovered today, 7 from Jammu Division and 45 from Kashmir valley.
The highest number of 120 active cases are in Jammu district, followed by 76 in Srinagar, 44 in Budgam, 35 in Kulgam, 34 in Baramulla, 33 in Pulwama, 26 in Samba, 17 in Kupwara, 14 in Bandipora, 13 in Udhampur, 10 in Ganderbal, 8 in Reasi, 7 each in Kishtwar, Anantnag and Ramban districts, 6 in Poonch, 5 each in Rajouri and Doda, 3 in Kathua and 1 in Shopian district.
