JAMMU, Nov 3: To give the citizens of Jammu, a unique shopping experience, 98.3 Mirchi initiated an extravagant and mass shopping festival for the people. Mirchi shopping carnival had set sail on September 25 and ran extensively till November 3, the day of the grand finale.
Mirchi also conducted a lucky draw contest at all the shopping venues in which customers were offered a chance to win some exciting prizes and gifts on the day of the finale which included a brand new Hyundai Santro as the grand prize, among others. To engage more people in the carnival, 98.3 Mirchi has been running various on-air and on-ground events.
The grand finale of the event ‘HDFC Bank presents AM Hyundai’s Mirchi Shopping Carnival, Powered by Hatil Furniture’ was conducted today at Jammu Haat, which started with the welcome address of Mirchi Simran.
To add more fun to the day, the host also engaged the folks in some fun filled conversations. Audience was left in splits with the stand-up comedy act performed by Mirchi’s Rohit Sharma.
The grand finale also featured a rocking and captivating performance by Jammu’s very own band ‘The Last Note’.
Actor and Youtuber, Sanyam Pandoh also graced the occasion.
On the finale of the event, Sumit Kakkar, Cluster Head 98.3 Mirchi complimented to all the shoppers as well as the participating outlets.
Mukesh Singh, ADGP Jammu was the chief guest who lauded 98.3 Mirchi’s initiative and efforts towards making the Mirchi shopping carnival an event that in its kitty had something to offer to every shopper and participant.
Anoo Malhotra, Director Industries and Commerce, Smitha Sethi, MD SIDCO and Subah Mehta, GM DIC were also present on the occasion.
Jatinder Mahajan, chairman AM Group, Sanjay Mahajan MD AM Group, Ankur Mahajan, Akshay Mahajan and Tarun Malhotra of the AM Group were also present . Sachin Mahajan, Senior VP of HDFC Bank Ltd also graced the occasion.
The participating Hotspots to shop and participate in the Lucky draw to Win a Car were HDFC Bank, AM Hyundai Jammu, Hatil Furniture Sainik Colony, Gautam Bali Makeup Studio and Academy Channi Himmat, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialty Hospital Katra, Mulkh Raj Ashok Kumar Jewellers Gandhi Nagar and Lakhdatta Bazar, Mahavir Watch Company Gandhi Nagar, Monika Supermarket Gandhi Nagar, Ellora Textiles Link Road, Jandiyal Opticians Bahu Plaza, and RK Video Last Morh.
The winner of the grand finale was announced by Jammu Di Kudi Mirchi Shwetima RJ and Programming Head, 98.3 Mirchi and winner of Hyundai Santro was Kunal. The carnival came to an end with vote of thanks by Mirchi Shwetima.
