JAMMU, July 18: J&K Cements Limited Employees whose salary is pending for the last 17 months have demanded early release of the same.
The employees in a meeting here, today have said that CP Fund has not been deposited in their accounts despite deduction from employees’ salary for last five years. They also demanded Sixth Pay Commission arrears, DA and COLA arrears and other dues of the employees including retirement benefits to the retired employees of the organization.
The employees said that they have not even been given the Seventh Pay Commission benefits till date.
The employees said that they are facing many hardships and are at the verge of starvation besides they are unable to pay the school fee of their wards.
They said the leaders who are opposing the privatization have failed to come to the rescue of employees who have been crying for their rights during last five years.
