NSF demands rollback of max qualification for Class-IV jobs

JAMMU, July 18: National Secular Forum (NSF) has demanded back of eligibility criteria of maximum 12th pass qualification, fixed by JKSSB for Class-IV jobs.
NSF president, Dr Vikas Sharma, while addressing the media persons here today flayed Government to fix maximum 12th pass qualifications for recruitment of Class IV jobs.
He said that how come the persons beyond 12th qualifications be restricted and debarred from applying for the same post, which is unjustified and termed it as assault on the fundamental right of equal opportunity granted by the Constitution of India.
Dr Vikas pointed out that the lowest grade Govt job like 4th Class is equally imperative and direly needed by all categories of educated unemployed young generation irrespective of their qualifications. “The Government is unaware of the bad repercussions of its unwise action,” he said, adding that a strong resentment is smouldering in the minds of youth over the step motherly treatment being meted out to qualified the youth by the Government.
Others who were present in the press-conference included Papinder Singh, Rahul Sharma and Mashkoor Ali Khan.
