Helpline Humanity holds online debate on Global Pandemic

JAMMU, July 21: Mind boggling online debates were held today on digital platform by Helpline Humanity, at Jagti township to promote the displaced community students. Two groups were organised in as Senior Groups and junior Group. For Junior group the topic was Online Education and for the Senior group it was Global Pandemic Economic Crisis.
Speakers from different communities participated actively in the debate on Global Pandemic Economic Crisis – A challenge or An Opportunity. Some spoke in favour of A Challenge and some spoke in favour of An Opportunity. As all the debaters were young school going students, many innovative and challenging ideas cropped in. Most the speakers vehemently pleaded that the present economic situation should be encashed as an opportunity. They lauded the recent statutory amendments brought in by the Government like Essential Services Act, APMC Act and Contract Farming framework and urged to use the present situation as an opportunity to kick start the economic growth quoting recent success of PPE kits manufacturing in India, digital education procedure adopted and the decision to boost Make in India , Asset creation by migrant workers in rural India and Atma Bharat Nirbhar Yojna . Some speakers eloquently articulated the great challenges ahead in view of Covid 19 and Subsequent Lockdowns.
The programm commenced with the address by R.K.Bhat, a senior State Government Officer who enthralled the online audience with his suggestions to produce skilled, quality educated youth who could compete in Nation Building and Administrative Examinations.
Manoj Pandita, Sr. Superintendent of Police, AIG complemented the participants for actively taking part in the debate and gave some tips for the future debate competitions. M.K. Bhat, president, Helpline Humanity expressed compliments to all the participants
